Upgrading RAMCHECK DDR/DDR Pro to RAMCHECK PLUS Pro Level

The RAMCHECK DDR ONLY (p/n INN8668DDRONLY) and RAMCHECK DDR Pro (p/n INN-8668DDR-PRO) memory testers are "stripped down" versions of the RAMCHECK PLUS (p/n INN-8668-PLUS) or RAMCHECK Plus Pro (p/n INN-8668PL-PRO) models, retaining the complete DDR testing capabilities. They are intended for customers who only need DDR testing capabilities, or for customers who have other older testers for legacy SDRAM/EDO/FPM memory.

The RAMCHECK DDR ONLY and DDR Pro models can be factory upgraded to the RAMCHECK PLUS Pro level. The upgrade requires the addition of the 168-pin Yamaichi test socket for testing SDRAM/EDO/FPM. It also require the addition of various components, modification of the calibration, and alteration of various built-in setup parameters. Therefore, you cannot upgrade by just adding the test socket.
